Eternal Hope in the Age of Acceleration

Easter reminds us that resurrection is not just something that happened—it’s something still happening.

We live in an age of acceleration. Ministry leaders face growing pressures. Donor engagement is shifting. Technology is moving faster than most nonprofits can adapt. The numbers are sobering: three out of four new donors never give again. Only one in ten nonprofits consider themselves digitally mature. And nearly three quarters of nonprofit executives plan to leave their roles within five years. Yikes.

What we need right now is hope. Real hope.

The resurrection of Jesus is proof that God brings life where we least expect it—even when we’ve given up. Through His new life, he leads us into new life. And while we may feel like we’re in a moment of crisis, this is also a moment that calls for clarity, courage, and above all, renewed faith. Faith that God covers, protects, provides, heals, sustains, restores, guides, leads, and redeems. He is able. He is willing. And He is working—in the world and in the work we do.

At Masterworks, we have the privilege of serving ministries that aren’t just reacting to change—they’re rising to meet it. They’re stewarding their missions with wisdom. Navigating transition with grace. Listening deeply. Building for the long haul. They are choosing strategies rooted not in fear, but in love and dignity.

So this Easter, I want to say to you—whether you’re a ministry leader, nonprofit marketer, or servant-hearted visionary: Don’t lose heart. You can have hope. The tomb is empty. He is risen.

“…let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Hebrews 12:1–2 (ESV)

Happy Easter,

Bryan
